Valor Index Monopoly

Building a Decentralized
Ecosystem for
the Arts & Collectibles Market

Valor Index Monopoly Ecosystem

Valor Index Monopoly provides a blockchain-based information asset sharing platform for industry participants to actively share updated auction information to receive rewards.

Contributors are responsible for submitting auction information on specific artworks to receive rewards. Every time the data is used on Valor Index platform, the contributor automatically receives rewards. To ensure up-to-date information, the rewards stakes can be taken by another contributor who submits an updated information.

Validators are industry professionals responsible for approving the submitted information by Contributors for its accuracy and validity. Every time the data is validated, the validator receives rewards for his/her contribution to the Valor Index Ecosystem.

Consumers are buyers, sellers, and investors of arts and collectables market. With the most reliable data provided on Valor Index platform, consumers can forecast the market more accurate and quickly. The usage fees paid by the consumers are fairly and safely distributed to the data contributors.

Data Asset Generation

Valor Index Monopoly provides a data asset generation service that enables data contributors to register information about specific arts or collectables in the blockchain as an asset called Data Asset Token.

The information that data contributors provide must be verified its reliability and validity by data validators. The only information that passes the validation is formally registered in the blockchain to secure the value of data asset.

Data Asset Trading

Valor Index Monopoly provides a data asset trading service that enables a data asset owner to transfer his/her ownership to the buyer who wishes to purchase the data asset and receive the payment from the buyer in return for the transfer.

Upon the agreement of ownership transfer between seller and buyer, the Valor Index Monopoly verifies the signatures of both parties, existence of asset, payment availability, then update the owner of data asset in the blockchain with new owner to complete the transfer of data asset ownership safe and secure.

Data Asset Retrieval

Valor Index Monopoly provides a data asset retrieval service that enables the data consumers of art & collectables to pay the price for the data asset utilization and access the desired data.

The Valor Index Monopoly grants the consumer an access to the data as well as distributes the payment to the owner of data asset upon the payment completion.

Token Economy
Data Asset Token

Valor Index Monopoly provides Data Asset Token, that is an asset-backed non-fungible token representing unique value of art & collectables information asset offered by the contributor. Data Asset Token is directly reflecting the ownership of information, immutably stored in the blockchain, and fully controlled by the asset owner.

Currently there exists the middleman who provides the information and extracts value from the system, but the Valor Index Monopoly is aiming at the contribution-oriented ecosystem where the information contributors share in the value provided, not the middleman

VALO Token

The VALO token is the base token of the decentralized art & collectables data ecosystem. The VALO token acts like a blood nourishing the decentralized data ecosystem and is a mandatory utility token that drives the expansion and growth of the ecosystem.

The VALO token is used to compensate for ecosystem development contributions and to penalize for harmful actions to the ecosystem, but, above all, unlike most other tokens, the VALO token is the utility token that has the inherent utility functions such as assetization of art & collectables data, index of data asset value, right to participate in the data validation, and incentivization of contribution

The Valor Index monopoly Platform is composed of three layers, which are blockchain service, digital asset service, and client service.

The blockchain layer handles all the tasks directly related to the blockchain. such as execution and validation of transactions, generation and validation of blocks, consensus, peer-to-peer communication, blockchain and state DB management, etc.

The digital asset layer plays a pivotal role in the Valor Index Monopoly platform and handles the tasks related to digital assets and tokens such as asset generation & transfer, token & account management.

The client service layer provides the services directly related to the user such as user registration, art & collectables data asset registration and invocation, sales and purchase of data asset, user authentication, payment management, governance, etc.
